    A MIRACLE CAT

Our story begins when a frantic man rushes into a veterinary clinic with an unconscious cat that he believes his husky may have killed. But, when the vet examines the cat, she finds he is very much alive, though severely paralyzed.

With no function in his back legs, the future did not look bright for the little creature, who was an apparent stray. When the only option seemed to be euthanasia, Dr. Betsy Kennon suddenly heard a voice. It was clearly telling her one thing - don't put this cat to sleep. The adventure that followed was one of inspiration, the healing power of animals, and the breaking down of misconceptions about cats. Scooter, despite two paralyzed legs, and absolutely no prompting, becomes a little beacon of hope, happiness and comfort to all the patients he visits. His story, told by the vet who owned and loved him, is one for the history books.
